Here we are at Brawny Stud, and at the risk of sounding not very brawny--doesn't the last couple make you feel romantic, warm and fuzzy?
We see couples all the time, and don't think much beyond that, but wow! Doesn't this couple have the "wow factor"?
Honestly, they make my heart melt. They are the perfect portrait of what we all want; you look at them and want to know more.
With that, it makes you wonder. Are they really happy together? Are they still together? Do their families and careers accept them for who they really are? Are they able to balance all the bull-shit that gay life presents us with? I could go on and on...
I get annoyed when you meet gay people, whether they are coupled or not--and they act as though life is just perfect. Everything has just fallen in to place, and there is no end to the "applause" in their lives; everyone knows and loves them. They're thought of as "special".
But let's face it--most of us don't have that. Along with myself, I know far too many gay people who are isolated and vaguely closeted about their lives, because they can never talk about it to the "straight world"--or what ever you want to call it. IT IS SO FRUSTRATING!!!
I don't know who this couple is, but they are a stunning couple. They are what I love to see, and I hope they are truely happy. [Geez! This sounds like a wedding toast... I didn't mean for that to happen...]
And so with that in mind, let's wish them, as well as all of us-- peace, happiness, and perhaps most important of all--respect.
